2015 Range Rover Sport SVR debuts at Pebble Beach

Remember Land Rover was testing a sportier version of the Range Rover Sport on the Nurburgring? Well, now that camouflage is taken off as JLR is set to officially unveil the Range Rover Sport SVR at Pebble Beach on 14th August. SVR is the new ‘performance’ range of vehicles by JLR and this new badge will feature on both Jaguar and Land Rover thus replacing the old RS badged Jags. And, this new RR will be the first car to come out of the SVR factory. To put in simple words: it is the fastest Range Rover ever produced. Highlights include:

- 545 BHP/680 Nm producing 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine

- 0-100 in 4.7 seconds

- Top speed limited to 260 kph

- Revised chassis and high performance tires

- All-terrain capability is retained

- Nurburgring lap achieved in 8 mins 14 seconds

- Racecar inspired exhaust soundtrack

- Sports seats

- All features of RR Sport will be included
