Quick Overview

The 2014 Lexus LX 570 remains one of the last proper body-on-frame SUV, designed for off-road and then road comfort. With the new 2014 model, Lexus has added new gadgets, a new grille and a slightly redesigned interior but remains one of the toughest, most luxurious and most dependable full-size SUV on the market. Its main rivals include; Range Rover Vogue, Infiniti QX80 and Mercedes GL.

The Lexus LX is based on its twin, the Toyota Land Cruiser, sharing the same chassis and engine. However, the Lexus stands out with its more attractive exterior as well as its opulent leather interior. The LX 570 is a heavy vehicle, but the 5.7 Litre V8 and 362 HP ensures that it moves with ease and quickly as for a vehicle of this size. Handling isn't great but does offer supreme ride and comfort, due to its height and weight, body roll is present and manoeuvring around town or in parking spaces can be a bit tricky. However, where the LX stands out is off-road, very few vehicles can achieve what this behemoth can do; it is unstoppable and feels indestructible. With a host of gadgets such as; Air suspension, differential locks and other 4x4 wizardry, the LX makes sure it goes where you want it, while keeping your occupants in total comfort and luxury.

The interior of the LX 570 is an amazing place to be; superbly built, an ergonomic design and feels very well refined and very expensive, one of the few vehicles in its class to haul 7 passengers in first class luxury. Standard equipment as with Lexus is very generous, numerous gadgets to play with, one of the most user-friendly entertainment systems coupled with a superb sound system. This is a huge SUV with even bigger capabilities on and off road.
