11 Racer Boys Arrested in Abu Dhabi

The chase began last month when one of the police patrols saw a man fixing a puncture and suspected that the car is used for illegal races.

When the police was pulling up he sped off with the car and the puncture tyre still attached. Police started chasing him but the racer called his friends and told them to block the police. Six cars with no number plates tried to block the police, but the eight occupants, and the driver they were chasing were all arrested.

After some investigation, the police arrested two more of the gang making the total number 11.

All the suspects are Emirati boys between the age of 17 and 24.
