Mercedes-Benz S-Class Launched in Abu Dhabi

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class has arrived in Abu Dhabi, with a 10 day launch celebration at Airport Road. Mr. Kamal Rafih, General Manager of Emirates Motor Company reported hundreds of booking requests already. Deliveries of new S500s will start immediately, followed by S63 and S400 models expected to arrive by October. 

The new, sophisticated S-Class is claimed by Mercedes to be the first vehicle globally with fully LED based headlamps, tail lights and interior lighting. It also has the Road Surface Scan feature which detects road bumps in advance and adjusts the suspension accordingly through it's Magic Body Control system. Another interesting feature is the Active Perfuming feature which detects the interior smell and perfumes the air accordingly!

The launch is 2 days after the Saudi Arabia launch of S-Class, held in Jeddah.
